Cadeautasje.... gift bag....

Hallo allemaal,

Hello everyone,
Today I made a little gift bag... very simple to make, but also an original and very personal way of gifting a special present.
A simple, plain white paper bag was used to create this gift bag.

Gebruikte materialen:
Used materials:
  • wit papieren tasje/ white paper bag
  • scrappapier:  Craft Emotions
  • stempel/ stamp: Studio Light
  • Spellbinders: Fall Foliage (S5-120), Spiral Blossoms One (S4-351)
  • Distress ink (Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, Gathered Twigs, Barn Door)
  • mulberry bloemen/flowers, parels/pearls, kant/lace

To color the edges of the petals you need Distress ink (Brushed Corderoy) + a blending tool.

I hope you like the idea and am (as Always) looking forward to your comments!

Yvonne

Hello everyone,
Some brandnew Quietfire stamps came out themed Christmas and also a great "wine"theme set.
So...I made a really cute wine label for you all
Such a nice change to the traditional paper wrapped version of gifting a wine bottle!
The stampset used for my label is called Quietfire "Wine is Sunlight", a set of 4 stamps

And...I have a question and was wondring if you could help me out.
Would you be intersted if Quietfire stamps would be available in The Netherlands or your country too?
I would really like to hear from you about this (just leave a comment under this blogpost, or send me an email). And maybe also which stampsets you like best....
Thanks!

Yvonne

Quietfire & Walnut Hollow Blog Hop - Day 4 - Do what makes you happy....

Hello everyone, Yvonne here today on day 4 of the Quietfire & Walnut Hollow bloghop.
We're pleased you're joining us for lots and lots of creative inspiration for combining Quietfire stamps and Walnut Hollow wood products.

I chose this mini Hinged sign (#40255) and Twirl& amp; Enjoy (#6397) for my project.

I know the bare wood is lovely, but I decided to paint my hinged sign soft grey, using gesso with a drop of grey paint in it.
Then glued upon  a white  piece of cardstock and aged it with Vintage Photo Distress ink .
Upon I placed a piece of patternd paper which I aged with distress ink and a distresser tool.
Then added the lace and ribbon.

The Quietfire text was stamped upon white cardstock using black Archival ink.
Then cut/embossed/stencilled some Spellbinders dies : Parasian Motifs (S5-035) and upon  Stately Circles (S4-388).
Use foam squares /tape to glue the circles upon the hinged sign.
The sign is finished of with lots of mulberry flowers, leaves and pearl stripes.

I have put this sign on my desk, just to remmind me how much fun my papercraft hobby is!
